Grand Opening - Nature Trail at Pennypack on the Delaware - Nov. 22, 2008
The grand opening was a huge success, despite wintry blasts of cold air. We were very pleased that Mayor Michael Nutter, U. S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz and PA Dept. of Conservation & Natural Resources Secretary Michael DiBerardinis were able to join Fairmount Park Director Mark Focht and our DRCC Chair, former Congressman Bob Borski, in making brief remarks before we opened the gates to have everyone join us in walking the new trail. By clicking on the link below you can view photos taken for us once again by Fred Moore.
