FRED MOORE - PHOTOGRAPHER

Fred Moore's pursuit of photography reached critical mass with the advent of digital photography in the 1990's.  His interest in the richness of nature and history combining along the Delaware River, particularly in the vicinity of Pennypack Creek and Holmesburg, where he is currently President of the Holmesburg Civic Association, brought him out to the early DRCC trail walks. Having a camera close by, he became the default photographer of those walks and other DRCC events. In May 2010 he was able to talk his way into a helicopter ride and take some vital up-to-date aerial shots along DRCC's section of the River. Needless to say, there are many wonderful photo opps along this stretch and many more to come as the Greenway Trail evolves.
